A Subtle but Significant New Post-Pandemic Change to Calendar Apps

Anyone who knows me knows I’m obsessed with working from a calendar instead of a to-do list. I pay great attention to all aspects of my calendar to try and reign in my crazy relationship with time.

One considerable addition I noticed on the Google and Apple calendar apps is the following small 3 words:

Adding Or Video Call reflects the new normal of most meetings being hosted virtually as opposed to in-person.

The new future of work has us slammed with back-to-back video calls and no time to actually action the items discussed in those meetings.

But hey, at least now we can keep all our Zoom and Teams links organised…
