A Tour of the New MAD Offices In Burbank

Last year I went to California for the late, great Nick Meglin’s memorial service. On the way back, I got my first (and last) tour of the new MAD Offices in Burbank (Well, Tom Richmond needed a bodyguard, so…)

A highlight of my career was getting to sign the famous MAD Contributor board, scribbled on by every one of my MAD heroes and idiots. That same day, the one and only Max Korn (Yes, THAT Max Korn) signed the wall, right under Nick’s name.

Looking back on it now, that day means a lot more to me than it did even then. I hope MAD comes back in some way, shape or form (other than re-packaged reruns) someday down the line. I have hope.
